I am VERY squeamish while something is actually occurring. I have managed to make myself woozy enough to have to lie down, just from watching my cat get subcutaneous fluids. There we were in the exam room, her purring like the happiest creature on earth, and me on the floor with my hand over my face.
But afterward, or beforehand, I'm WAY fascinated. One of my most intriguing memories is of watching a television (pre-cable) show where they'd filmed an entire heart bypass surgery. WOW. I admit I couldn't eat Hunan Chicken for a little while after that, but WOW, what a show.
