[LJ-CUT TEXT="For me to fill in later"]
Hi, I'm back! I got home from surgery
__an hour ago,
__this morning,
__yesterday,

and this is the first time I'm coherent enough to post. I'm in
__so much pain I can't think,
__some pain,
__la-la land due to Vicodin,
__my office,

and using the crutches I
__can't move at all.
__can get as far as the bathroom.
__look very goofy trying to climb stairs.

__A pre-op nurse
__The anaesthesiologist
__The surgeon
was really hot and I hope I didn't say anything lewd to
__him
__her
while under IV sedation.

Rob has been
__a great help,
__grumpy as hell,
__missing since last night,

and I can't wait until I am strong enough to
__be less of a burden.
__get back at him.
__dial 911.

Thank you all for your good wishes. I'm sure I'll be
__needing your support a lot for a while.
__up and around again soon.

Great idea! ;)

Uh-oh -- I had a really cute anæsthesiologist -- I hope I didn't say anything too embarrasing to him.... Now I'm worried!

If you did, and if he was really cute, I suspect you're not the first. :-)

When I had oral surgery (a rotten tooth and a wisdom tooth removed) at UCSF many years ago, I remember well that the dental student who assisted was just stunning, and I lay there, bleeding all over the drape, drooling, wanting to mumble, "Can I have your number?"

I didn't actually ask, though.

I *think* I'm safe... nobody was absolutely stunning. Phew. :-)
