Right turns today, once around the building. Bike gloves are an improvement (it sure is easier to brake!) but not the right answer. Something has to protect my thumbs. I also want no seams on the palms at all.

- Probably my old "comfortable walking pace"
- Left arm is aching, right doesn't care
- Did break a sweat, but then I'm in a dark-colored sweater and it's sunny
- Current goal: able to go once around without feeling tired

I just wanted to say that I admire your tenacious spirit and sunny attitude. *hugs*

Thanks! I don't always have that sunny attitude, I tellya. But sometimes a good attitude is what gets me through the day! :-)

No seams ... hm, have you tried Weight-lifting gloves? The ones I use now don't have any seams on the palms.

You might want to try leather weight lifting gloves. I still wear them out, but in my case they do last longer than cloth cycling gloves.

You should totally do SF Pride this year. :)
