These things feel REALLY, REALLY WEIRD to wear.

They look weird. But if they help...

I have curled toes also. But they don't hurt.

I'm not sure whether mine are contributing to the metatarsal pain. I figure I'll try straightening 'em out just in case.

I feel like I'm debugging a program that I can't edit, can't run in the debugger, and can't discuss with the developer. I google and get snippets of the documentation; some is wrong and some is misleading. I run testcases and see what happens. Then I try to put the poor thing in an environment where the bug won't show up. :-)

Ohhhh, that's a great analogy!

Does that thing hurt when you walk, or anything?

I want to upgrade to the less-buggy latest release!! :-)

So far it just feels sort of wrong.

Something I've heard for years: Beware the .0 release version!

Maybe you have Human Feet 3.0 or something. Where's the patch? ;-)

Those straighteners do look a bit like torture devices. They should be black or red leather. Of course, then they would charge 10x for them.

Yeah, and then you couldn't wash them.

(My practicality chimes in at the worst moments, huh?)

My practicality chimes in at the worst moments, huh?

I do that sometimes, too.

That gadget looks like a bra made by Birkenstock.

Oh, now I'm supposed to get WORK done after that? ;-)

Bwahahahaa!

Think of it as putting your breast foot forward (:

THAT lends new meaning to "every step I take hurts"!

LOL!

hammertoes? i think the solution is in the problem! *rimshot*

and yes, that contraption does look very wrong! you don't have to call it "Mistress" do you? ;-)
Thursday, March 24th, 2005 01:37 am (UTC)
Maybe the Mistress is the one wielding the hammer.

*thwack*

Like toe socks weird? :)

A little bit, yeah. I've modified it now and it's better -- I added a strap over the arch so the heel bit wouldn't fall down a lot.
