There are two (sometimes three) control dealies on my nightstand, and I now have ways to affix those to a wall. I suppose I could put them on the side of the nightstand instead. Either way I can put something useful ON the nightstand, like Kleenex.

I also have a timer for the bathroom. I'll want to set that up to turn on an electric heater just before I get in there in the morning. (For readers just now tuning in, our furnace doesn't work. We're unlikely to bother fixing it until fall.)

Woohoo! Little creature comforts.

Velcro is exactly what I have chosen for two of the objects -- the two I can use in place. The third needs to be able to be removed, and I'd like to do that fairly quietly so I won't wake...

...um...

...d'you know, I just now figured out that since the third one is the remote control for the stereo, I don't have to worry about waking up Rob? If he's asleep, I wouldn't use that anyway.

Sheesh.

Well. Yeah. Velcro. I'm going to go look for a brain transplant now.
