The phone is dangerous. I should stay away from that thing.

Made two new appointments: 1) new podiatrist, second opinion kind of thing, 2) a myofascial therapy place (thanks for the recommendation, [livejournal.com profile] ambar!) I suspect these will both be expensive. Ka-ching! That phone. There oughtta be a law prohibiting its use because people like me might use it to spend money. <--that is sarcasm.

The podiatrist will at best be confused, as the gal taking my information over the phone did not understand a whit of it. She definitely got it wrong ("shots are painful", she wrote) and didn't have the time to straighten it out. I'd been on hold five or six minutes already and she got me off the phone with dispatch. So the doctor will have to get a clue on my time and my dollar. (Surprise.) Fortunately, she comes well-recommended and is therefore probably smart.

The myofascial thingy will probably be ongoing and REALLY hurt the wallet. However, it's a whole different approach. One podiatrist has already not fixed this; maybe podiatrists aren't the way to go. This appointment isn't until July, so to save my budget I have four months to find any other way to fix this. :-)

Worst case, I'll learn more of what doesn't work.

I am now putting the phone as far from me as possible. This is all that phone's fault.

I am sure the horses are happy you have a telephone. My kitties would be happy I have one, too, if only they understood that veterinary care is a *good* thing.
