Idea stolen from
mactavish.
Things I am grateful for:
The beauty of the moon hanging low near the horizon when I was driving last night.
My fuzzy steering wheel cover. I had this off for a while because I have discovered that leaving it on while having your car serviced is a good way to get it permanently grease-filled. While it was off, I discovered how COLD the steering wheel is in the mornings without it. I put it back on this morning. Purrrr.
My cats. Jackie was very affectionate this morning. I love it when she shows she likes me. It's almost unconditional -- as long as I don't clip her toenails. :-)
The idea to make a gratitude list. :-)
Rob. Last night he built a fire and put on Enya before I walked in the door. AND he let me read! I haven't had time to read a book for weeks. I was in withdrawal. We didn't get much talk time but it was SUCH a lovely evening.
Snippets of free time during the work day, like this one. I use them to read LJ, take a deep breath, work a mechanical puzzle, and just generally decompress.
Bach's Brandenburg Concertos and the means to play them over and over in my car. They keep me sane on my commute.
