I forget the name of this medication ([livejournal.com profile] rfrench...?) but it's got warnings about dizziness.

I just took it for the first time, with lunch because "with food" was recommended.

THEY ARE NOT KIDDING AROUND ABOUT DIZZINESS. Woooooo. I'm really not quite sure which way is up right now. Well, I can sort of deduce it by which way the edges of tbe windows line up on my monitor, but thinking too hard about that makes my stomach begin sending Locate-A-Bucket warnings. Then I keep very very still for a few moments and the warnings fade. Turning my head to the left or right gives a spate of urgent Locate-A-Bucket warnings. Tilting my head left or right gives just a couple. Closing my eyes is awful.

Whee. And this is time-release for eight to twelve hours. I am gonna have a very interesting commute home. It might very well involve someone else as driver!

Yikes! Is there someone who can get you home? I can't remember how long of a driver you have, but even if it is just across the street, it's too far to drive. Can [livejournal.com profile] rfrench come get you?

Maybe some water to help it get through your system faster?

*hugs*

Four miles - I have a wondrously short commute. I'm mostly back to normal now and will wait until I feel confident about driving before I set out. (And yeah, I drank a lot of water!)

Thanks!

I was really wondering, for a while there, how I was even going to get in touch with anyone. I was down on the floor and the phone was alllll the way up on the desk -- completely unreachable. I was hoping I wouldn't have to go through the humiliation of hollering "Could someone come in here and help me?"

I've had to do that, when I was having an asthma attack and my purse (with my inhaler) was at my desk. Not fun.

Glad you're doing better.

And I'd like to see the one that turns your hair fushia, too. Only if it turns all your hair, though ;-)

Oh ick. I'm glad that most people, when the brown stuff hits the rotating blades, will just quietly go do the helpful thing.

If something turned some hair fuchsia and some bright green, I wouldn't want to be in the same county with it.
