Last set of alcohol injections for the left foot this morning. Zombie foot didn't need a band-aid.

[livejournal.com profile] sunnydale47, I did try to breathe out through them! I didn't count seconds, but I think they take eight to ten seconds of fluid-pushing. That's a bit long. But these were the least painful ones anyhow, because the nerves are already so weak.

Not that it's a BIG amount of pain anyway. Who cares about ten seconds of ouch? I'll run again! The doctor asked me to come back for an evaluation in a month; I extended it to a month and a half because I'll be in Osaka in a month. But after that evaluation, maybe I can run again! I am soooooooo excited.

Next in this series: Couch Potato CJ builds up fitness from her current slow-moving state. :-)

Yikes! Ten seconds is long for one exhalation! (I can hold my breath for ten seconds, because when I use my albuterol inhaler that's what I have to do -- and actually it's not that hard, I can hold it for quite a bit longer.) But exhaling steadily for ten seconds is a bit much -- and actually, too slow to be effective.

Next time try panting. Just like a dog (except you don't have to stick your tongue out unless you want to Image ). You can pant as fast or slowly as you want -- faster panting controls pain better, so adjust accordingly. It doesn't sound like you'd need to pant really fast.

Whee! I'm just picturing you running along, feeling the wind, with joy radiating from your face. Soon!!!

Yeah, like I said, they were long. Ah well -- they're DONE! No more!

I so hope this is the only thing that was wrong. My original diagnosis, inflammation of the capsules surrounding the heads of the metatarsals, might show up more now that the neuromas are mostly-dead. I hope it doesn't.
