Ooooo. Good point! You probably need a different device for audio CDs, or maybe DVD rewinders work on audio CDs, but not the other way around; I keep forgetting.
Another thing to watch out for is rewinding a disc that is already rewound. Overwinding could have similar effects to overwinding my watch (yes, my watch is digital - I use my fingers to wind it). Now, maybe this device has a rewind regulator, but if it doesn't I think you could end up over-rewinding a disc which could build up enough tension that it might explode in a sudden release of undirected energy, possibly damaging the disc, the rewinder, or possibly even bystanders.
