I'm back!

What a saga.

Today I read all my e-mail, both work and personal, and read lots of LJ entries. I have not yet resubscribed to one high-volume list I ducked for the holidays. I have heard how lots of my coworkers spent their holidays. I bet almost nobody gets much done on the second of January. It's just that kind of time: reconnect with your existing life.

(There is something to be said for the idea that any existing life requiring more than eight hours to reconnect is Too Damn Complicated and needs some serious streamlining.)

Also had a chiropractic adjustment this morning on my way in to work. Wow, did I ever need that. Hadn't had one in weeks, plus all the carrying things on one shoulder in airports and the designed-for-pain seat backs in commercial aircraft... My neck hasn't made that amount of noise in probably five years. I'm a little stiff and achey now, but I CAN TURN MY HEAD.

More details later. I'm raaaaavenous.

Welcome back CJ. Hope you didn't have any flight/security problems

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-01-03 10:21 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks! Nope, no problems, except that I was "randomly" chosen to be searched at EVERY SINGLE SECURITY LINE. My friends and I joke about what the laws of chance do around me, but it really does get old after a while.... Other than that though, everything was smooth. :-)

Sounds like me. I set the metal detector off flying out and didn't realize it was my steal toe boots.

but the "wand" did pick up all thre peircings. luckly didn't have to explain that one.

I had to explain my nipple piercing in San Jose. She asked -- are you ready -- "did it hurt?". :-) Some day I'm going to answer that question with "What do you THINK?" :-) :-)

*LOL* I should let you borrow my t-shirt from the place I had my belly button done.

It says on the front "No it didn't hurt"

It freaks people out more than the truth sometimes.

hee hee!

Another good potential answer: (said with a big smile and a lustful glint) "Yeeeeeeeesssss." :-)
