What an amazing story! At first I thought it must have been a retained twin that the child had, but then I read the story and found that she had been having periods long before the pregnancy. How astonishing, but then there are always exceptions to the norm, on either side of the bell curve. This was one of them.

I don't know of many times I might say this, but I'd guess that a retained twin would be MORE common than this gal's case! :-O
