You never did find Jakey? That's so sad. I feel for you. I hate when that happens. I still miss my Critter (yeah, that really was his name), who went missing five or six years ago now. I think it would have been easier if I had known he had died, than never knowing.

It is, isn't it? :-) I think I wouldn't have let her have it if it had been caffeinated tea. My vague memory says that the compound in chocolate that is dangerous to dogs and cats is theobromine, very similar in properties to caffeine. Wouldn't want to risk it without better knowledge.
