My cat likes decaf Constant Comment tea!

She looked extremely silly fetching the dregs of it off the bottom of the mug.

Cantaloupe! That's a new one on me.

I enjoyed meeting you, too! I couldn't resist coming up to ask whether you were who I thought you were. :-)

hehehe... I love reading the cat journal. :D My Jakey (whom I miss dreadfully) loved blueberry muffins if they were warm and buttered.

I suspect [livejournal.com profile] jackiecat would eat a rock if you put enough butter on it. Of course, she would then hork it back up on the carpet right in front of the bedroom door.

You never did find Jakey? That's so sad. I feel for you. I hate when that happens. I still miss my Critter (yeah, that really was his name), who went missing five or six years ago now. I think it would have been easier if I had known he had died, than never knowing.

Of course she is. She's your cat. Or you're her human, whichever. ;-)

Indeed. We do have standards in this house. ;-)

The concept of caffeinated cats is absolutely terrifying.

(Hi there! I saw you in Cyan's journal. :-)

The concept of caffeinated cats is absolutely terrifying.

It is, isn't it? :-) I think I wouldn't have let her have it if it had been caffeinated tea. My vague memory says that the compound in chocolate that is dangerous to dogs and cats is theobromine, very similar in properties to caffeine. Wouldn't want to risk it without better knowledge.

Hi! :-)

Actually, theobromine is more closely related to cocaine than to caffeine. Also, it was the subject of my first content-ful LJ post. :-)
