The bad news:

Just found out that I'm slotted to call in San Diego, among other times, on the evening of July 4th DURING THE FIREWORKS. Ouch.

The good news:

I'm booked to call in Japan! I'll be one of two featured callers - Rob is the other - at the Gotenba Challenge Convention, January 7-9, 2005. We'll have a staff of four or five others, they're thinking.

Japan. Wow.

If you're not too close to the fireworks it shouldn't be that much of a problem. I have some fond memories of watching the fireworks from Coronado Island...

The Japanese trip sounds like fun. Will you be going through Alaska? Or Hawaii? Or direct?

The noise won't be a problem, but if I'm calling I don't get to watch! Waaaaaah! :( (The room has no windows.)

No idea yet on that trip. Have never seen either Alaska or Hawaii, so those might be possibilities. Wow... I'm still boggled. :-)

Welcome back!

Your square dancing seems to bring you all over the world. Who'd thought they'd do it in Japan?

No kidding! The Japanese and the Germans are both big into square dancing. There is some in Australia, England, Sweden, a tiny bit in Norway, and a tiny bit in Belgium. I'm amazed.
