OK, they get created, they die. The load queries even agree about it. Now to make it multiprocessor-enabled again.

Only a couple more things to do. The remaining chunks are smaller than the ones I've finished. I'm getting VERY sleepy, and I'm not looking forward to staying alert through an entire evening of square dance calling tonight, but I'm very encouraged that I've gotten this far. Wow, what a lot I can get done in a quiet night. (Of course, it's not quiet around the office any more: everyone else came in!) If I can just keep up this pace for a few more hours...

I hope so for the dancers' sake. Not too many callers are good at calling when they're short on sleep. The dancers will grab that microphone out of my hand and thwack me one. :-)
