Square dancing this weekend went well. Saturday I would hold my pillow during breaks; by Sunday I didn't need the pillow at all. And my dancing is improving! Huzzah! I am so glad. Some day I'll be good at this. I hope I hope I hope.
We stayed overnight with the folks who were hosting the weekend's dance. Since we were in the barn, we got a visit from their very friendly kitty. He's a wiry little type, the kind of build I wouldn't bet against in a serious fight. He is quite vocal and once he settles down to some serious scritches his pleasure is abundantly clear. I like knowing unequivocally where I stand, even (or perhaps especially) with an animal.
No run on Sunday. I got mostly dressed for it and knew it was too soon.
Good weekend. I am content.
