Poor Little Girl!

Do you know how fun it is to shower and dress in a room where you reeeeeally don't want to put your foot on the floor?

My cat seems to have a UTI, you see. (All you cat owners out there are probably thinking got the picture; you don't need to say another word.) This meant confinement to a room with a linoleum floor. (Now everyone else is probably thinking got the picture and wish I hadn't; please don't say another word.) She's at the vet's now. I can't wait for the antibiotics to kick in, and I'm sure Little Girl will be even happier than I.

Duchess is in remission again!

The glucose curve I took on Sunday, nearly two weeks after dropping the insulin dose to 1 unit twice a day, showed numbers low enough that Dr. W said to stop the insulin entirely. Yay Duchess!
