Textbooks and other time sinks

Last weekend Rob and I were calling in Los Angeles. Sunday's location happens to be next to a Goodwill store with a rather large and fun selection of books.

The picture includes Rob's haul as well as mine. His was just as voluminous, and included a lot of videos to watch while he's on his stationary bike and a lot of books to read on airplanes.

Must get cracking on those textbooks.

Background information: I was in the Army for a while.
Background information: The small startup where I work is inexplicably enamored of squid. We send each other squid pictures-of-the-day, our machine names have squid-related puns, that sort of thing.

This squid pie story is the funniest thing I have laid eyes on in an age. I was wiping my eyes with laughter. I had trouble breathing. If you have ever been in the Army, or if you are inexplicably amused by squid, go look.
