Friday Five, perhaps

The Friday Five appear to be on vacation, but these five questions showed up in the journal of chiefted so I'll take 'em.

1. If you were told you were about to lose one of your five senses, which loss would
you most fear?

Sight. No driving, no flying, greatly reduced square dancing and square dance calling... it'd take away nearly as much of my current life as having kids would.

There are days when I would almost welcome partial hearing loss (it sure would make square dancing more pleasant) and partial loss of the sense of smell (this would make lots of things more pleasant).

2. If you could receive $10,000 right now, and the only catch is that you would have to re-live the very worst day of your life for an entire month, Groundhog Day style, would it be worth it?

Oh God no. Unless, Groundhog Day style, I had the chance to change things... and even then probably not.

3. What sort of things did your teachers used to say about you on report cards? Were they accurate? Do they still apply?

I have no memory of any full sentences on my report cards. I got grades, and that's all I know. Those don't still apply. I'm nowhere near the goody two shoes I used to be. :-)

4. What song line(s) best describe(s) your mood/feelings right now?

I Will Survive (just that line, basically)

5. Name one secret (or not so secret) desire.

To be a human being, full size, full salary, full benefits.
