Man, it's tough to eat six meals a day. I come home at night and Rob will ask me how many times I ate. If I count every separate snack as a meal, I can usually say four. I'll add one more around nine or ten in the evening, for a total of five ... and all the odd-numbered ones really are just snacks.

I'm working on today's number three right now. It's a pasta and veggie salad. I've eaten about half of a side-dish-sized serving and I'm just not motivated to eat the rest. It's not even that I'm not hungry. I am hungry. I am just incredibly tired of shoveling food in my mouth.

I guess the change takes some getting used to.

It's expensive to eat often, too, unless I'm careful. There's no discount for small portions at lunch, and snacks aren't cheap. I may have to cook again. Ack. Why don't I have kids by now? When my mom was my age, she had three elves to do chores. She can probably count the times she's cooked since then.

I think it's pretty ironic that I can try to double the number of times I eat in a day, and I bet I'm losing weight. I am so, tired, of, eating.
