Spent last weekend square dance calling in LA. Fun! The dancers enjoyed it, and Rob and I certainly had fun as well -- this group is friendly, energetic, and competent. A pleasure to call for. And since much of the weekend is A2 and C1, we didn't even have to bring heavy folders full of handwritten choreography with us. We could just wing it. On top of all that, we got to see friends in that area whom we see only when we get down there to call.
Flew down in the Saratoga. Took our square dance friend Gary with us. It's always fun to have a passenger in a small plane. The guy who picked us up at the airport was fascinated by the plane. There's a man who needs some flying lessons.
Oh, now I want to get back into aerobatics again. I need to be upside down! Waaaah!
So after all that frenetic activity last week at work, and the immediate departure for a weekend on our feet & on the microphone, now I'm suddenly at loose ends again. I've got only small cleanup-type things to do at work. Maybe I should take a moment to go schedule an acro lesson... temmmmmmpting... ;-)
