Not typing too well right now. Ripprd up index fingernail very badly, few minutes ago. Could not bring myself to do long term least pain thing: finish removing torn piece. Now really ought to hold down torn piece so that when scab forms, surfacw is mostly smooth instead of rough and easy to catch. Ow ow ow.

No kidding! My finger is now encased in a nice big wad of bandaid. (Murphy's law: why did it have to be the INDEX finger, the one with charge of eight keys on the keyboard? Grr!)
