I just figured this out: If I used to be considered insane, considered abnormal, viewed with faint pity because I didn't think the world was a nice place... then when life settles down for the majority of Americans, I will AGAIN be insane. This period when my beliefs that the world isn't a nice place happen to resonate with everyone else's current nervousness is a phase. It too shall pass.
How long before the WTC attacks become old news? Guess it depends on what our enemies have up their sleeves for the next year or so.
What an odd thought: how long before I'm insane again?

um.
I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure there are others out there who won't forget so easily and are now joining your brand of insanity while others will regress into their old habits.
Re: um.
I'm sure you're right. And I won't even start on childfree-by-choice. 1/2 :-)

True. It was just an odd feeling, for a while there, of being LESS insane than usual... and I had only now just realized that that, of course, must be temporary. Duh. :-)
Re: um.
I'm aiming to have children. And I get assured that I don't really want to, that I'll regret it when I have them, that what I really want is a University degree and a career.
Can't win. Not possible.
