Woo! I have entered the twentieth century! cjsmith dot org. I was pretty impressed that such a name was available! I haven't done anything to make it useful yet, of course.

Am also considering another domain name reflecting some of my interests. Many good puns available.

Seems to me you already have one, if you just add "asm" to the end of your shiny new domain name.

Hmm: shiny new cjsmith orgasm. Doesn't sound half bad...

But what would a "cjsmith dot orgasm" be? ;-)

On my period? (period=dot)
With a Department of Transportation employee?
In the offices of a high-tech productless company?

From behind with a guy named Tod?
From behind with a German necrophiliac?

How cool is that?? You go girl!

I noticed lisadoodle dot net is available, amazingly! ;) Do ya think they take egyptian pounds??

Huh, how WOULD you work that? Are there domain registrars in Egypt? Do you still have a US-ish credit card?
Tuesday, December 3rd, 2002 04:33 am (UTC)
Nah, all my US cards sent me to collection when I ran outta dollars to pay them with. ;)

Rondo's got one, but we keep it for travelling and stuff here. We *do* get a dollar paycheck -- but it all goes to the credit cards (see above).

And then do you get a pounds paycheck? Wild!

Yeah, my paycheck is completely in pounds. Though, actually, I won't be getting many actual *checks*. Folks just use cash here, so my pay is direct deposited, then I withdraw cashola from my savings account.

It was SO COOL getting my first paycheck -- it has been so long!! I worked from the time I was 12 until I was 28, consistently, even through all the births and school and things. That break was SO NICE and necessary -- but it's nice having money coming with my name on it!!! :)

Plus, it's cool getting paid in pounds & spending in pounds .... weird, but cool. It all still looks like monopoly money to me (well, dirty monopoly money. Like the stuff in our game looked after the three of us kids had played it about a million times).
