That is a good one. Didn't Malcolm X say much the same thing -- only definitely in context (instead of a general statement like Sadat's)?

(Darn. I just did a google search trying to look for the quote I had in mind. No luck. Oh well.)

Deeply true, and it's amazing how it can be hard to tell the difference at times. *sigh*

I recall some old Roman quote or somesuch that basically said when someone proclaims their hostility and enemity to you, you should rejoice because now your choice of action is quite clear with no ambiguity.
