There was beautiful sunset color tonight, which isn't unusual except that today it occurred a good hour before sundown. And now the moon is a dull orange.

Mmm, yummy chewy air.

Yeah, I had a big splash of flaming orange on one wall from the sunset.

This is the smoke from fires still, right? We're not just having a wicked industrial/car pollution month?

Yesterday, I believe that it was mostly smoke. Ozone levels are higher than normal but were still in the normal range yesterday, not way bad. (http://www.sparetheair.org/air_quality.htm) On the other hand, earlier in the week, particularly the 9th and 10th, ozone levels were quite high, (http://www.sparetheair.org/scv_zone.htm) and I expect contributed to breathing problems on the part of myself, and several other folks I know.

We noticed the sunset through the windows of the dance studio last night. Very, very orange. Very, very pretty.
