If all went smoothly, lkeele and her family are in Cairo by now. I hope her kids aren't too wired from jetlag, and I hope everyone's getting settled in quickly.

I might actually get to visit her next summer or so. Wow!

WOW indeed. isn't it just wild to think that we know someone in Egypt?? not just an online friend, but someone we've met in person??

Yeah, isn't that great? It's probably a little less WILD for me since I've been to Egypt before, and thus have met various people there in person. But still. Someone I know from the US lives there now. Wow.
