Studying

I've been working on C4 (square dancing) for a while, and last Saturday I attended a tape group that was put together in large part to help me practice. The people there were VERY encouraging and said I should dance Clark Baker's C4 this coming weekend. I'd been planning to go to LA to dance to him, but I hadn't been planning on doing the C4 part; I was just going to watch that. Several people are saying I should dance. I don't know whether I should or not. I get nervous if I think about it.

I have been making very little effort on studying Swedish. I leave in just over a month and I haven't even mastered the vowel pronunciation yet. I will definitely kick myself if I don't do a bit more than this. How many opportunities like this do I think I am gonna get?

Oh, by the way, it's confirmed: I will be calling in Stockholm. Woohoo! My first international booking. Better make sure I have good stuff prepared.

Woohoo! Let me know when you'll actually be there, and if Laura isn't off at a conference (the poor dear has two trips to italy and one to zurich between now and thanksgiving :-) you might get together for food (and to meet more swedes :-)
