I respect the whole-grain thing, and all, but whole-wheat blueberry muffins taste TERRIBLE.

I agree. Some things just aren't worth doing. Lo-carb pizza. Fat-free whole wheat donuts.

I had a fat-free whole grain raisin muffin the other day - too dry :(
I don't like blueberry muffins period, so I wouldn't eat whole wheat ones.
Thomases whole wheat bagels are pretty good, especially if you need fiber (10 grams per muffin).
