{giggle} That's too cute! I had no idea starlings were financial investors. I mean, they're reputed to have stolen prime habitat from US birds, but I never knew they stole quarters from innocent car-wash owners! :)

And they're SAVVY investors, too! Cash is one of the strongest positions in today's market, and they clearly knew it! :-)

I think they were looking for those state quarters. They're probably missing Delaware. ;)

I should ask them if they've got Pennsylvania. I'll trade 'em my extra Delaware for it.

Are you missing Pennsylvania? Darn -- I just put one of those into the coin-op laundry machine today!! :( I'll keep my eye out for one if ya want!

Ooo, I'm not even breathing hard!

sorry :)

Seriously, thanks BUNCHES! Pennsylvania is extinct out here - no sightings for many moons.

I wanna know what they were planning to spend it on.

*laughter*

I'm thinking of the sorts of things humans spend money on. Maybe these birds wanted little starling-sized SUVs and sneakers and day care. Racing stripes and fashion wingtip vanes. Pre-caught pre-packaged worms. :-)
