I certainly have done and do quite a bit, and I do think of it as acts of love. I am now aware how readily it turns into enslavement, though, which I am hair-trigger about opposing.

It does turn readily into enslavement. For a long time I wouldn't do most of these things because of my opposition to that. I'm enjoying my forays back in, though. :)
I guess how much I adore it depends on how loving I'm feeling in the moment. Sometimes love is cheerfully doing something like that; sometimes love is doing it without much enjoyment beyond the knowledge that someone I care about will have this help.
In my case, given the kinds of things I tend to do, it's sort of [acts of service" love language] + ["kind of butch-ish gender" influencing what things to do] mashed together.
I guess for me it feels like doing "kind of butch-ish" things as well, and that is not my actual gender. That feels like a part of myself I have to act out, not because it is unnatural to me, but it's not my preferred way of operating. I have to force it.
