I'm thinking of going to the Fencesitters' Ball. Anyone been? Is it fun? Is it fun without a date? Is parking possible? How wild is the attire?

I've gone before. My experience is that it's fun but crowded. I might have a hard time there, as it's mostly "stand and walk around" or if there's a seat, "get up, risk losing your seat." I've been known to just sit on the ground, though. :)

I've never been without a date, or at least a group. I doubt you'd have a hard time getting one, even just a "going as friends" date, if you don't want to go alone.

I'm pondering Pride, the dyke march, and that dance. I might not manage all three. We'll see.

It's fun (I've been to many of them), but the venue they are having it at again (Jezebel's Joint) can get _extremely_ crowded and parking is rough. This past Halloween they had it at a much better venue, but they have gone back to Jezebel's for whatever reason.

Attire can be failry wild. That part is fun. Being sqaushed and unable to get to the bar for a drink is not fun :-(
