Anybody here ever done Questival?

I'm getting a work-related invite and looking at their web page it reeeeally seems Only The Young And Able-Bodied And Pain-Free Need Apply. Wondering whether it's worth explaining my (often invisible) foot problems yet again + seeing if someone is willing to take a chance on having my limitations on their team + risking painfully over-doing it yet again because People Don't Listen To Things They Can't See, or whether I should simply be "busy that day".

Thank you. ♥ It would really be fine if someone who knew the event a bit would simply say "yeah, CJ, opt out of this one." I've long since accepted the fact that that's the best answer for certain types of activities.

Not knowing, though, eats up brain power and decision capacity. (This is one cost of Not Being The Assumed Default Person that people who are the Assumed Default Person tend not to understand.)

I haven't done it, but I'm curious about these events so I read a little about some people's experiences. It sounds like there are a lot of challenges you can choose that don't require able-bodiedness, but on the other hand there's a lot of hurrying and racing around and trying to cram as many challenges in as possible; it seems like "overdoing it" is practically the theme of the event. And then someone casually mentions having to do burpees at a checkpoint, and it doesn't sound like that was something they opted into, so it does sound like they're just assuming you can do various physical things. Blah.

Wow. THAT level of boneheadedness might merit some effort to show up in a wheelchair.
