Yesterday I learned that dshwashers aren’t as heavy as I’d have thought. (Mine needed its little leveling feet rebalanced.)

Yesterday I also learned, because I was prompted to look it up, that Immodium is an opioid. There, now you can impress people at cocktail parties, at least if you attend the kinds of cocktail parties where people discuss Immodium.

My dear departed Paula told me about Immodium being an opioid many years ago. (Memory is saying ~1976).

I knew opioids slowed peristalsis, and I’d been told Immodium was an anti-diarrhea med, and that’s all I’d ever thought about it before. I’ve never taken it, not sure I’ve ever laid eyes on one. Anyhow, now I have this little bit of info.

LOL!!! Perhaps I should familiarize myself with this substance. Apparently in ten years it’ll be a household word for me as well! ;)
