Oh no! That sounds horrible. What meds, if you don’t mind my asking? (I’m always curious - I prescribe things all the time to patients who can’t tell me if their sleep is disturbed or they’re anxious or they’re confused.)
Sometimes I wonder if very vivid dreams are a result of suddenly being ABLE to sleep and dream when for a while you’ve been denied those things. The body/mind is catching up.
I made a decision the day before yesterday and it’s so immensely freeing that when my body figures it out and allows me to sleep, I bet I’m going to have some real doozies. :/
Yes, indecision is a thing that will definitely keep you awake! I hope you slept better last night.
The nightmares may mean I'm sleeping better, but they wake me up! I took the meds this am, and I slept better last night, except for my challenging little teenager being all "Mom! Love me!" at 2:00, and then, when I woke up at 3:30 needing water and tried to reach over him sweetly cuddled right up next to me, I spilled it all over the rug and had to get up to dry it. I told him it wasn't his fault.
The meds are Topamax/Topirimate. We'll see if I'm extra sleepy this week. Not so great for a birthday girl. But they are keeping headaches away effectively.
Wow, what a situation. Maybe Zxywvut (um, my autocorrect thinks that should be spelled this way?? how the heck would it know?) can help keep the teenager away from you in the middle of the night?
I wonder if dreams waking you up is a get-used-to-it phase?
