Gender

I’ve been struggling with gender identity concepts for literally decades. I recently came across, in two different places, the idea of messing with how I look as cosplay (or, to be more precise, as costuming / dressing up for fun, whether emulating some fictional character or not).

This is brilliant.

Naturally I won’t do much if anything with this until ACP (After Current Project taking up much of my free time and energy). But at that point I’m’a have some fun. :-D

Cosplay is a wonderful, safe way to poke at thoughts about gender.

Also, you say cosplay, and I think back to Boskone mumblemumble years ago and you in purple spiky hair.

I have very fond memories of that purple spiky hair... and of Boskone. I may even still have the hair! :-D

Ahhh, I'd be so amused if you still had the hair! I still have pictures (including one of you and Jenny trying to stay warm under the cloak). I think I have reached the age where it all seems so far away, and like yesterday, all at once... y'know?

I shall look for the hair. ACP though - might be a while.

I need to remember this request at some point when I'm home... I have boxes of photos down in my office. But nothing is scanned (and the scanner is hooked up to nothing at the moment?). I have to grab them and bring them to work for easier scanning, I think!

Noooooo rush at all! I too have boxes of photos unscanned... I know how it goes.
