Weekend plans

Friday: Remain mostly in bed in a futile attempt to get rid of minor plague.

Saturday: Ethical question. Call in sick to work, leaving them shorthanded in the vital area of poo-cleaning?. Or chance sharing minor plague with everyone there?

Sunday and Monday: Invitation declined due to trip. Trip subsequently cancelled.
IF plague suddenly gone AND invitation still open
THEN undecline invitation
ELSE sit at home and eat chicken soup

On the bright side, there is absolutely no excuse for me not to have my chem lab report done on time for Wednesday!

Somehow, I think that the poo will get cleaned up even if you're not there.
Feel better!

That's true. It's merely a question of how hectic everyone else's day becomes. Saturdays seem to have no middle ground; either we can keep up with everything pretty well, or it's absolute bedlam. I'd feel a bit guilty if I ducked out on a day that would have been bedlam even with me there.

I don't imagine that Valentine's Day is a really big veterinary day.

Hee! There's that! I know a friend of mine is coming in tomorrow, but that's all I happen to know about the schedule.

I called, and the manager said "stay home". So yep - staying home. She didn't even have to hear me cough. :-)

And we'll be really quick and easy, too! There will most likely be poo, but it's only very small poo.

Sadly I won't get to say hi to you! Well, another time. :-)

Personally, I prefer when coworkers with the plague stay home and get better and fail to share the plague with me. It's win all around, and I would gladly clean a little more poo to compensate for the absence.

Hope you feel better!

*grin* Yeah, I called the clinic to see what their preference was, and the manager was unequivocal: STAY HOME. "Okay then," I said, "I'm calling in sick for tomorrow." Question resolved!

I hope you feel better!

Thanks! I am getting quite annoyed with the coughing. I don't even feel all that bad except for the cough (my sinuses appear to be on the mend already), but man, the cough is fierce.

*hugs* Here's some chicken soup for you. i'm glad you're staying home tomorrow to rest up and get better. i'm sure the humans AND the puppies and kitties wish you a speedy recovery and thank you for not sharing your germies.

i hope you're feeling well enough to get the schoolwork done, too.

I'm feeling pretty good, except for coughing like a jackhammer. Chem lab report is underway. :-)
