Optimistic planning

My clebratory post-Lyme-trial meal is going to contain PASTA.

Good pasta.

I have no idea when I'll have the time to go get any. But there WILL be one meal of pasta.

Then I will EAT AN APPLE.

You just reminded me that I had an apple in the kitchen! Said apple is now consumed. I haven't eaten an apple in, gad, over a year. May you enjoy yours as much as I just enjoyed mine.

Yay apples! Yay fruit of all kinds!

I read your comment quickly at first and briefly thought that the apple waiting in your kitchen had been over a year old. :-)

That would have been a very dry apple!

I have really bad teeth, so apples require being cut up in order for me to safely/comfortably eat them. I almost never buy them for that reason, but the other day I decided that I wanted one. In hindsight, I should have sprinkled a tiny bit of salt on it. I love tart apples with a pinch of salt.

I love apples with CHEEEEESE. I suppose that's a lot like a pinch of salt. :-)

Cheese with apples is good, too.

GO. EAT. A. COOKIE.

(This is just a placeholder until [livejournal.com profile] deyo stops by with his appropriate icon.)

I thought of that, yeah. (That's one of the worst things for someone with blood sugar control issues to do, unless actually in crisis, so I heartily dislike that icon.)
