Well, I'm impressed.

Apparently all three of my professors this past quarter are willing to use A+s. I had known only that the bio professor would.

That almost makes me think it would be worth getting my statistics grade fixed. I have my final grade in the professor's handwriting, sent to me after the final was graded (A+), yet it's on the unofficial transcript as an A. I doubt it's possible to fix it at this point, though. That was summer quarter.

I doubt it would hurt if you talked to the instructor.
Maybe it was an oversight when he was sending in grades?
Good luck!

Even if it's not possible to change it, it doesn't particularly matter. The values of A and A+ on a GPA are the same. I'm just being snotty. :-)

True! :)

Congrats! :-)

We just went on the +/- system at all starting this semester. Before that, Purdue had only used straight letter grades.

Oh man. Does that mean you might have had a B otherwise???

I doubt it. It probably means I would have just had a C, knowing what this guy said about how he planned to curve.

Blegh. :-/

Worth a try. I was chatting with my Physics lecturer at one point, years after the class, and mentioned to her that she'd misgraded my final, but I hadn't said something since 3 points wouldn't have made a difference in my grade (probably C+... it was a tough class) but she asked if 6 points would have. The final was worth double. It would have, she found the material, and sent in a correction.

Oh wow. Thumbs up! It was thoughtful of her to ask (and to fix it).

Yeah -- I really liked her. She's the reason I took that class althought it was tough and although the prior class had convinced me I wanted nothing more to do with Physics. Turned a rough (although low-credit-valued) 15-credit term into an 18-credit-hour term
