Do I know any senior Linux systems administrators looking for a job in this area? Hmm, I just might...

We have a plethora of Linux servers in a high volume, distributed site and are looking to move to the next generation of infrastructure. If you have 8+ years hands-on experience in Linux/Network administration and love Linux, Networking, scalability, load balancing, and infrastructure challenges you are going to love this job!
Qualities and Qualifications

    * 8+ years Linux administration experience (not Solaris or HPUX…Linux).
    * Experience installing and configuring: Apache, iptables, sendmail, SSH, VPN, etc.
    * Excellent Shell Scripting and Perl, Ruby would bring big smiles also!
    * Network experience with hardware/software load balancers, firewalls, switches,
      network security, and network topology.
    * Mass data storage experience such as SAN/NAS and shared file-systems.
      Preferably in a high-volume content driven environment.
    * Experienced in capacity planning and tuning, investigating network issues,
      and proposing and deploying new systems to remove bottlenecks.
    * Experience with monitoring software such as Nagios, Ganglia, Sitescope, etc.
    * Experience with automation! You must be able to rollout a system AND maintain
      a system w/o any manual intervention! CFEngine is a huge plus.
    * Experienced with TCP/IP network analysis and troubleshooting as it applies
      to Linux environments.
    * Experienced working with Open Source software.
    * Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, IE: after hour and weekend oncall rotation. 

The following are definitely pluses.

    * Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
      DBA experience a major plus.
    * CFEngine
    * Linux kernel hacking
    * In depth knowledge of Apache
    * LDAP and other security.
    * Video streaming
    * Mobile technology 

Responsibilities

    * Network planning and scaling.
    * Give hardware, software, and network recommendations to senior staff with the
      ability to implement those decisions.
    * Deployment planning, installing, setup and configuration of
      hardware/software recommendation with the ability to setup proper
      monitoring of those systems.
    * Documenting redundancy, disaster recovery, support, and other information
      necessary for infrastructure you create and install.
