Accomplishment!

Many things done!

1) Posted a LJ request to check my research on financial project coming up. (Those of you who've been reading my friendslocked posts over the last coupla months have seen me angsting and preparing and hemming and hawing over this one.) Got some information from people who know. (Answer: Yes, my research is basically right; my numbers are in the ballpark.)

2) Sent e-mail asking accountant for advice on same. No reply yet, but there's time.

3) FOUND my bread maker! Finally! Cleaned several years' worth of accumulated dust off it. Notified person who wants to borrow it. Put it in car so that when she and I are in the same place, I'm likely also to have the bread maker.

4) Shipped DVDs to person who wanted to borrow them. FINALLY! She even knows they're coming.

5) Deposited my 2007 IRA money in person, because I know of no other way to make sure it's earmarked for 2007.

Also much progress on stuff at work, except, well, it's not done yet. *sigh* Time to get cracking.

If you don't mind I have added you as a friend. After looking at your profile and reading a couple of entries in your journal I am intrigued. I am an older student who is looking forward to finishing my second year in a little less than 2 months. Yea!!!!

*wave* Hi! Friended back. So far, entries like this (a day in the life) and entries like this (goals, long and boring) are friends-locked, but in the fall it can all go public. :-)
