Oh man. Did I ever goof. What a mistake.

I visited the Blowfish Tax Day Sale page (link is not work-safe) and now I can't concentrate on anything I'm actually supposed to be doing.

I knew better, I really did...

You know, I've met Jack Morin, author of "Anal Pleasure and Health: A Guide for Men and Women". He said he liked my buns.m

I deleted the email announcement from my inbox, and you had to go and publish the link! I blame you, CJ!! muttermuttermutterspentmoneymuttermuttermutter

Um. From him, that'd be a comment guaranteed to interrupt one's thought processes!

Soooooo... didja? ;-) You do not, of course, have to answer that. :-)

Not yet, but I'm in serious danger of using up some of my remaining credit limit. Serious danger.

There's a lotta good stuff there.... :)

Heh. I deleted the first e-mail announcement from my inbox. I forwarded the link from the second, identical announcement to a few select friends. (I'm on their mailing list twice; been unable to fix that.) The third one arrived today and was too much temptation to resist, so I followed the link... and posted it in LJ. The fourth one I deleted.

It's not my fault. Blame Blowfish. They keep sending me mail, and of course it's not my fault if I click on the link, now is it? :-)

Now *don't* be using logic when I'm trying to duck responsibility. That's not *fair*! ;-)

Don't I know it. I know some of it is good because I own it. :-) [heh. Wondering when this becomes TMI for a public journal entry.] I bet the rest isn't horrible either. Mmmm, where's that little plastic card with the numbers on it...

Did I what?

He was speaking at a SFSI Continuing Education potluck event, and I had made cinnamon rolls. He tried one and said "these sticky buns taste great".

What did you think I...Oh! Really CJ! I'm surprised at you!

That was my Patented Responsibility-Ducking Pseudologic. Here, have some; I didn't use it up. There's lots more -- it's everywhere! ;-)
Thursday, April 18th, 2002 02:07 pm (UTC)
Ooo, you let him taste! Mmmmmm! :-) :-)

I'm surprised at you!

No you're not. 8-)

October 6 is a long way away. . . .

This little rectangle of plastic has numbers on it. I have learned that if I type the numbers at *just* the right time, fun things come to my house!

Note that in my case, butt sex products are not fun. No numbers were typed in the making of this comment.

Note also that I cannot speak for all residents of my house regarding what is fun... ;)
Thursday, April 18th, 2002 02:16 pm (UTC)
Yeah. Maybe I need to celebrate, hmm, my dad's birthday (May 25), or my mom's (June 16)... Or hey, Beltane. :-)

Isn't that neat? Just as I suspected when I was little, grownups have all the best stuff! When I was a kid, I could push buttons on some toys at just the right time, and maybe some music would play or something. These plastic rectangles are much better than that!
Thursday, April 18th, 2002 02:31 pm (UTC)
Well, okay. Not in this case.

But I do find you delightfully surprising!

I can't wait until I get home. :-0

Heh. Clearly you need to explore the world of "Friends Groups" . (I mean the LiveJournal kind.)

--Joe (whose hoping he ends up on this particular friends group....)

Thanks! I needed that!

I have some of those plastic rectangles, too. Aren't they *neat*!? :):)
Thursday, April 18th, 2002 02:46 pm (UTC)
True, I've got friends groups... didn't see the need to restrict this post, not quite... I'm sort of pushing the envelope a little, seeing how I feel about having something like this completely public.

Although maybe I could make a "raunchy stuff" group anyways. ;-)

They're the best! They keep creating stuff out of thin air. They are really good at bringing me BOOKS. :-)
Thursday, April 18th, 2002 02:51 pm (UTC)
Mmmmmmmm... books. :::drool:::
powells.com alibris.com Just type in the number and *poof*! Magic :):).

Mmmmm... Powell's.

I once made a trip to Portland specifically to spend the weekend in Powell's.
