Hi!

I'm back!

I love my bathroom - it is big enough to stand in with both arms extended to my sides. My cats are very happy to see me. Yesterday I unpacked, did laundry, and aired out the house. Today I get to reply to a huge amount of mail (e- and otherwise) and clean the floors (three cats, two weeks, springtime). I will not be catching up on LJ. My apologies if I've missed something big.

It's "dinnertime". I'm hungry. So far I am feeling perky but I wouldn't put it past me to pass out early this afternoon.

The Project From Hell at work is NOT completed. Over the vacation I got some hints that it might be, but no. It does appear to be closer to completion than it was when I left.

I needed this vacation. Wow.

Segues? I don't need no stinkin' seques!

A perky CJ. That sounds dangerous and attractive, like any number of cliche wildlife similes.

Welcome back! I'll ask you in addition to Rob: Did you travel incognito, or openly from the U.S.? If openly, did the folks in Europe have that look of pity/horror that I remember from the early 80's? ("But aren't you worried about the cruise missiles?" - some European to some friend of mine)

Happy resting.

Everyone who saw us had to know we were Americans. We were physically large and incredibly loud.

The floors are taken care of. Love you!

Oh my GOD, all of them? You are a saint.

Yes, all of them (except so far I didn't do the den).

My halo is too tight.

I love my bathroom - it is big enough to stand in with both arms extended to my sides.

Whenever I come home from a business trip, I make a contented sigh when I first sit on my toilet. And not the reasons you occasionally sigh when sitting down on the toilet. I'm just so happy to be on my very own toilet again. :)

It's just about as important as one's own bed, isn't it? There's something about knowing you're home.

Those are the two things I miss for sure, my own bed and my own bathroom. I just usually end up using the second one before the first. :)
