Darn it. I was looking back through "memories" for crock pot recipes, and I found out I've been defriended by someone whose recipes are in locked posts. Waaaaah!

(I don't care if this person never reads my journal. I was pretty sure that was the case before. Life is busy, yanno? But waaah! I wanted to go steal recipes!)

Woe is me and all that!

OK, enough whining. There's work to do. Later.

You could always email them and ask for the recipes...

Wow, must have been some good recipes to lock 'em down! If ya need one for BBQ corned beef, lemme know. ;-)

That sucks!

I'd give you my crock pot recipes, except they're all pretty much "check what's in the fridge, throw in meat and/or beans and or/vegetables, make sure to put onions and garlic in there, add salt, pepper, other seasonings that seem like they might be good, and some Tabasco."

That does suck.

what are you looking for?

I still think [livejournal.com profile] kitiara has the best crockpot recipes I've ever seen.

I'm trying to remember what (if any) food issues you have, before I recommend recipes.

I've had this exact thing happen to me!

Well, instead of "crock pot recipes" you need to insert the words "naked pictures." But otherwise it was almost exactly the same! :)

Yeah that's probably what I'd do too.

*laughter* I'm kind of that way too, for now, except that some of them really don't come out very well. I'm learning. :-)

Ooo, you have recipes? Simple easy ones, I hope? :-) :-)

I'm no fish no seafood. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms or of eggplant but the only true restriction is fish/seafood.

The two that would suit your style of cooking best are this chicken taco soup (http://katestine.livejournal.com/732447.html) originally from AllRecipes.com - it's beer, stuff from cans, and boneless skinless chix breasts - or Kit's Fabulous Faux NC BBQ pulled pork. Both are easy-peasy, tasty, and don't involve canned soup. (http://www.kiloindiatango.com/2006/03/02/kits-fabulous-faux-nc-bbq/)
