Oh wow. A Wikipedia article on challenge square dancing!

(PS: What happened to the journal update page? The Subject line can't be used, it looks like Web 2.0 had indigestion all over the auto-formatting options, and some buttons and text fields on the bottom are clearly on walkabout.)

Clicking through to other sites, I think I'd have trouble with C1, just following the instructions!

I can't imagine setting up the choreography. I'd have to guess most callers use computer programs now to figure it out. Man. And phantom dancers?! Wild!

Great! And if I could remember the difference between stable tandem & tandem stable, I'd add that to their discussion. But, like most times when I try to tell others what to do while dancing, those are the times that I mess up.

I don’t know who wrote it, but I’m very impressed. This is the best “intro to Challenge” article I’ve read: complete, concise, current, and accurate. I’m glad the author emphasized that the number of calls is not the most important difference between Challenge and other levels. It really isn’t.

Yea, this was written by some gay Danish square dancer a while back. He used to live in SF. I remember being surprised I had never heard of the guy who wrote it.

I don't have any problems with formatting when I view it.

The update page looks fine when I'm logged out. I think somebody didn't test the Lynx scheme. Hopefully the problem is only in the Valentine's Day changes.
