Rob was quite wobbly on the crutches on the way into the house, but he seems content now that he's resting on the couch. I'm impressed at the lack of post-anaesthesia nausea. He even ate some Jell-O.

Rob's entry

I got a surprising amount of work done in the waiting room. There was no network, but I could write various sample code snippets for later use. I briefly chatted with two other people waiting. Both patients were in for bunionectomies. At least Rob's bunion was dorsal, an oddity. I wonder if Dr. O ever gets bored.

It is VERY odd for me to play "the able-bodied one". I've been "the one with the problem" for years now.

I hear tomorrow's the bad day. Fingers crossed that he can stay ahead of the pain with the meds.

Thanks for all your well-wishes!

I hope he heals quickly.

Thank you! He has a history of slow (albeit thorough) healing. I am now hoping bones are not included in that. :-)

Glad he's home and well. I hope he heals quickly, and that the 'bad day' ends up being not that bad after all.

Well, he hasn't been complaining. I'm impressed at how well this is going so far.
