Wonder how amused my coworkers would be if I brought minor mending into the office. ;-)
do it!! i've dragged two quilts (in pieces), oodles of crocheting and the birdseed flowers into work to make use of my lunch hour, much to the amusement of my coworkers. i see it as a chance to educate them as well. the 24 yr old guy in our office was fascinated by the process of hand-piecing a quilt. :-)
and i agree, with down time, the more complex the time-filler project, the more likely you'll get interrupted at an inconvenient time.
