I show up tomorrow (Monday) morning at 9:30 at Company M to sign papers. I begin work immediately.

If there are no surprises Monday morning, I'll also immediately start notifying everyone who has my resume. (The faint-but-never-zero possibility of surprises in the printed offer is why this entry is friendslocked for now.)

This ends the Life Ick. I will now be spotty about keeping up with LJ for other reasons, namely a new job!

Congratulations! Sounds like you considered all the information you had and made a good decision about which way to go. That must go some way toward putting the LifeIck behind you...

Woohoo!

Thanks! Ya gotta love anyplace that gives you margaritas during the interview. (Well, ok, after. They have a Thursday evening happy-hour sort of thing.)

PS: Are you home already? Wow! My time sense is all skewed by the Rob-in-his-own-plane thing. Hope you had a good time at the dance!

I do gotta love anyplace that gives you margaritas during the interview. That would go a long way toward making me comfortable with the culture.

Speaking of margaritas, Rob drank *a third of a margarita*. Poor boy was so wasted... :)

I will work on a blog entry for this shortly. It was the best, absolutely the best, for many reasons.

But yeah, commercial flight is a little quicker for those true cross-country flights! :)

HAHAHA! He didn't tell me about that. I bet he had to be carried. I shall commence the ribbing as soon as he gets home. :-)

Excellent! And yeah, anything farther from here than LA or so, commercial sure is quicker. Three days each way is a heavy tradeoff for being able to bring your Swiss Army knife.
