Never let it be said I am not obsessive

This game is a LOT more challenging if the goal is to enter every word in order, from bottom up, based on the order they will appear on the page.

Yes folks, CJ did indeed play this game (on and off) for nearly four years before she noticed what order the words were in. Now that I know, it gives a freakin' huge hint at times, so I came up with a harder goal. :-)

Nice picture! The short hair makes its icon appearance...

I do not dare see the game...

It's an addictive one, for me at least. I'm such a word person. I've broken a million on it. ...twice.

Jesus, I made 200,000... once...

I'm guessing Boggle with you would be an education... Still, it'd be fun to play some time. November?

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2006-05-05 05:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm medium to medium-good at Boggle. I haven't played often.

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2006-05-05 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm okay at Boggle, for someone who's almost never played it. The thing with Text Twist is all you have to do is get the six-letter word and you can keep going. Naturally you get a lot more points if you get the rest, and I do try to get the rest, but if you just keep going long enough you'll hit 1M eventually. I have to leave the browser open for days and days (weeks? never timed it) to get that far.

[identity profile] wooddragon.livejournal.com 2006-05-07 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Right. And usually I get the six letter word first, oddly... But when I don't get it first, sometimes I never get it at all...

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2006-05-07 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Well hey, now you have the whompin' big hint! :-)

[identity profile] wooddragon.livejournal.com 2006-05-08 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm, I don't think I got the whompin' big hint. I better go re-read your post. (I'm blonde, you know...)

[identity profile] wooddragon.livejournal.com 2006-05-08 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
I must be mentally challenged. Sometimes the words are in alpha order, sometimes they're in reverse. I haven't been able to determine the pattern, and I know there is one... :(

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2006-05-10 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, and neither alpha nor reverse would give much of a hint, anyway. The order is related to the six-letter word. (To be precise, the first six-letter word, if it has more than one.)

Bwaha! It was, indeed, a huge hint when I realized as well. I hadn't thought to make it more difficult in that particular fashion. Curse you for feeding the addiction! ;)

*evil laughter*

Pretty new icon! Shiny!

Shit -- does this mean I have to get my act together on a short-hair icon for me? That's what I get for shooting my damned fool mouth off again...

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2006-05-05 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee hee hee ;-)

Actually, you didn't promise *how quickly* after I had one you would make yours.

But what triumph am I supposed to get out of dealing with a dictionary that recognizes and rewards curred and chines, while denying me cruder, chine, tsar, shit, roc, rasta? Pfui.

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2006-05-10 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
You've got a point there. Its dictionary sucks. It sucks big fat pink plaid hairy rocks. It is truly awful.
