Cherry blossoms are EVERYWHERE! I had been meaning to post this last week, when it was still January and yet I was surrounded by pretty white flowers. Outside my front window there's a tree covered in blossoms with almost no leaf growth to be seen. In a couple weeks I'll be scooping all those petals off my windshield, but for now, it's gorgeous. :-)

Pictures!! i wanna see pictures!!

I had the good fortune of showing up in Washington DC one year just as the cherry blossoms came into full bloom. what a breathtaking sight.

We had a flowering cherry tree in our backyard growing up. (One little tree in a 17'x25' townhouse backyard.)

Hey girl, you don't EVEN KNOW how much I'd love to see you again, not to mention San Fransisco (possibly my favorite city, of all those I've visited any way). Would you take me around to the art galleries? Could we go visit alcatraz like stupid tourists? I'm veggie now, so I can't eat the delicious fresh seafood, but surely you know of a great restaurant or two ... :) :) :)

I would LOVE to show you around San Francisco! I don't get up there much myself, so I'd be gawking like a tourist right beside you. Hmmm, Pride is summertime, wanna come then?

An SF pride parade? Girl, you know my weeknesses, don't you!! We'll see -- it depends on Rondo's job (if he gets one), when we're supposed to move (if we're moving), and if I have any money!!

Yah, usually. Lemme see... San Francisco tends to be fourth weekend, San Jose is second weekend, and Santa Cruz seems to be settling in on first weekend. I usually march with either the bisexuals or the square dancers in San Jose, and will go to SF for a special occasion (YOU coming here would DEFINITELY qualify!).
